The body of this little butterfly is a vintage stamped butterfly, put away in a cabinet before ever being made into anything, and recently rescued (I got a bunch of them; this sort of tooling used to be quite normal). I soldered little bezels to her wings that was the hard part; those wings are such thin things!) and the set glass doll eyes in them. She's maybe a little creepy, but ever so pretty. I've mounted her on a little butterfly covered vase I picked up at a thrift store. The vase is cracked, and should not be used to hold water; dried flowers would be fine.
This is an art object; vase and butterfly are all permanently bonded.
