This print is gold spray paint; and it really does catch the light! The paper is from an incomplete set of dictionaries I pulled out of someone's trash. Should I not admit that? Maybe. It smells fine, I think they'd just bought a newer dictionary. Image dimensions are roughly 12x8, with a bit of blank edge to make framing easier.
These monoprints, for lack of a better word, are spray paint on found paper, using one of my masks, after cutting and before forging, as a stencil. I really only have one small window of opportunity to make them, and if it's raining that day, there's not gonna be prints from that set of masks. But sometimes the timing works out, and then we have this little piece of ephemera! I usually only do one or two from each mask; you will be receiving the exact print, on the exact piece of found paper, that you see in the images.
Because these are on found material, I generally cannot guarantee that they will be archival. As with any paper print, they will do best if not hung in direct sun, and should really be framed or otherwise mounted. I will mail your print to you rolled carefully with a thicker piece of paper in a tube. If you order more prints along with other items, they will very likely ship separately. If you order a bunch of prints at the same time, they will all be rolled together and the website will overcharge you for shipping; I will refund any overcharge. I am working on that, and my apologies in the meantime.
