It's the second week of our weekly mini-collections, and this weeks theme is odradeks; everything in this collection is made from my own carefully preserved scraps. I really do try to use as much of every copper sheet as possible, to avoid all the extra energy use of having to send things to the refinery. Many of these are the cutouts from around masks, while others may have once shared an edge with a crown or a bit of jewelry.

This crown is -almost- plain but then those two little geometric cutouts hint at a whole world. I love this crown for everything from running around at the park to dressing to the nines. I have also recently heard that tiaras are GREAT for zoom meetings

About three years back, I saw a painting of Diana, in which she was wearing a crown that was also a set of horns. I loved it. Folks had been asking for tiaras and crowns for years, and all the sudden, I wanted to make them. So I began making them. That's the whole story.

These crowns are flexible. They can be bent in a little and be worn a bit forward to stand up more, or bent a little out and be worn more as a headband. Will fit pretty much all adult heads. Not intended as a toy for children- just as a toy for adults who may or may not be grown up. Your call.
