It's the second week of our weekly mini-collections, and this weeks theme is odradeks; everything in this collection is made from my own carefully preserved scraps. I really do try to use as much of every copper sheet as possible, to avoid all the extra energy use of having to send things to the refinery. Many of these are the cutouts from around masks, while others may have once shared an edge with a crown or a bit of jewelry.
For this cuff I used a bit of copper that I imprinted from a stamp I made myself, handcut from steel as an experiment. It worked! There may be more things imprinted with this all-seeing-eye, but for now, this is the only one. I added a carnelian cab as a pupil.
All colours on my copper are inherent to the metal- they are created without chemicals by carefully controlling heat and access to oxygen. Colour will last forever as long as you keep your piece away from chlorine, bleach, and other harsh chemicals. Hand-soap is fine. Sizing is quite flexible, but nothing is ever one size fits all; the size chart is based on the actual measurement of your wrist, so if you like things loose, size up, if you like them tight, size down.
Sizing is quite flexible, but there's nothing that fits everyone. We've made sizes for everyone along the gender spectrum.
