Baba Yaga's Bat House

Continuing in my "what if Baba Yaga's house wasn't a chicken but was instead a..." series, we have our first mammal! Folklorically speaking, bats often get
categorized with birds, and I decided to take advantage of that to make this, the cutest Baba Yaga house yet! Look at those tiny tootsies! The big ears! The giant, protective wings!

This is an art object, not a toy. All edges are sanded, but you can still poke yourself with the feet if you try, and the metal is strong but not, by any means, intended for play. It is, unlike some of my other sculpture work, easy to dust and not subject to moths, so can be put out on a shelf or wherever you want it, and does not require a glass case. If you decide that this piece is seasonal decor, you should be able to pack it up with no more worry than any other piece of holiday decor, just make sure to provide enough padding that she doesn't scratch your second favourite piece.
