I discovered that If I have cutouts in one piece of copper I can use that piece to block oxygen access to another piece while heating them both to about 1800 degrees, and if I quench it in boiuling water, I can get a "print" in archival heat colours. The colours are endemic to the metal, not a surface coating, and will last in normal wear. I do not recommend wearing your pendant in a chlorine pool.
All pendants come with the chain with which they are pictured. Most chains are about 17inches long, and will fall about midway between the neck and the decolletage on an average woman. We realize that measurement is a bit biased; our pendants are unisex and we are happy to provide longer chains if desired.
Each piece is entirely one of a kind; a tiny sculpture for your neck. They are never repeated.
