Go ahead. Treat yourself. Put "diplocaulus" into google image search. They're one of my favourite fossil animals, and you'll see the resemblance to this piece.
Looks great dressed up with an open necked top, or peaking out from a button up top with the top button left undone. Elegant everywhere. The "eyes" are mother of pearl cabochons.
Our neckpieces are perfectly formed to hug the neck- just slip it on and forget about it. The very first time you put it on, you may have to do some minor fiddling- but thereafter, it'll hold up with ease. Will fit necks from around 12 inches around to about 14 inches around. If you want it looser (either for a larger neck or just because that's how you want it) the little curls in the back allow you to tie a pretty little ribbon around the back.
