The Odradek

1,175.00

Another of the critters I made from Borge's "Book of Imaginary Beings". The Odradek is nothing, really, in herself, but she is made up of all the bits and pieces of things that you have loved and then forgotten, all held together with lint and dust bunnies and shadows. She moves the way that maybe a tumbleweed moves, if a tumbleweed knew where it wanted to go.

This Odradek is made of scraps of copper brazed together into a solid sheet, and she's ornamented herself with all sorts of things from my childhood jewelry box, and other bits that, once upon a time, I wove into fairy wings for a college costume party.
